Bush Hills Scholar Wins District Spelling Bee

Emmett Carrithers of Bush Hills STEAM Academy (center) is the winner of the 2023-24 BCS District Spelling Bee! Mason Jones of Phillips Academy (left) finished second, while Miles Howard of W.J. Christian K-8 claimed the third place trophy. Held at Lincoln Professional Development Center on Jan. 29, the District Spelling Bee featured 23 scholars from across the district.
