Ramsay Choir Emerges As Best Overall Group at North American Competition

The Ramsay IB High School Choir performed at the WorldStrides Heritage Festival competing on April 28 against choirs from the US and Canada. 


The Rams received a Gold rating for their 2 p.m. performance, winning Outstanding Choir as the best overall group for the entire festival.


Senior Kailan Stoves, who serves as Choir Council President, won the Ovation Award for her leadership and organization, while Junior Brandon Thompson, Jr. won best vocal soloist and earned an invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall as a soloist.



“I am very proud of them for all their hard work and dedication,” said Zachary Banks, Choir Director for Ramsay High School.


The group’s final concert for the school year will be at 5:30pm on May 10 at Ramsay High School Auditorium.
