BCS Hits the Road to Success for 2023-24


We’ve had a fantastic start to the new year in Birmingham City Schools! On Aug. 7, we were Ready Day One, with more than two-thirds of students pre-registered across the district and fun festivities at many of our schools. Click here to learn more.


Hundreds gathered on Aug. 28 for the Rally for Reading at Bill Harris Arena. More than two dozen community partners were on hand to provide free books and incentives to encourage students to read. This was the kickoff for the year-long Read to Achieve campaign. Click here to learn more.
